Double Chocolate Cookies

The perfect cookie recipe for all of us chocolate lovers. They offer an extra dose of chocolate and a soft & creamy inner.
The secret to the best double chocolate cookies is to use a combination of cocoa powder and chocolate chips, as well as to properly cream the butter and sugar together to create a light and fluffy texture.

Equipment

  • 1 Whisk If you have, you can use a hand mixer (whisk) or food processor
  • 1 baking sheets

Ingredients

  • 200 grams Butter
  • 300 grams Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 275 grams White flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 75 grams Cocoa powder
  • 100 grams Milk Chocolate
  • 100 grams Dark Chocolate

Instructions

  • whisk butter and sugar until creamy
    200 grams Butter, 300 grams Sugar

  • Add the eggs and whisk together
    1 Egg
  • Add flour, baking powder and cocoa powder and mix well
    275 grams White flour, 2 tsp Baking powder, 75 grams Cocoa powder
  • Cut the chocolate into 1cm thick pieces and add carefully mix into the dough
    100 grams Milk Chocolate, 100 grams Dark Chocolate
  • Lay a baking tray with a baking sheet.
    Divide the dough into 14 equal parts and shape them into balls. Put the balls onto the baking tray and flatten them a little.
  • Bake the double chocolate cookies at 200° Celsius for about 10 minutes.
    HINT: The double chocolate cookies will still look quite soft after 10 minutes of baking. Take the cookies out of the oven anyway, they will harden as they cool down and still remain nice and soft on the inside.
